"Restored" is a visual exploration of heartache, loss, and the fragile beauty of healing. This piece began from a place of brokenness—deep emotional weight, grief, and vulnerability—but layer by layer, it transformed into something whole again.
The heart, textured and imperfect, carries the scars of its past. But look closely—within the fractured strokes and deep reds, there are glimmers of gold spirals. These are not attempts to hide the wounds, but to honor them and our journey. This painting celebrates the truth that we can emerge from pain not just mended, but more beautiful because of what we've survived.
Healing isn't linear. It doesn't always move forward in a straight line — it spirals. We circle back to old pains, meet them with new eyes, and each time, we rise a little stronger, a little wiser. Restored is a tribute to that spiral — the journey that breaks us, teaches us, and ultimately transforms us.
